Bio:
Paul Brown had previously played guitar with Abbey but switched to bass in Rat
Salad. Their first gig was at The Asgard Hotel in Howth supporting Joker. Their
most successful gig was in front of a crowd of 700 kids in St Fintans School
Hall in Sutton in the middle of the bill between headliners The Arthur Phibes
Band and opening act Feedback (the embryonic U2) in the winter of 1976.
Rat
Salad split in 1977 when Dave Fitzgerald left for college in Galway. The remaining trio
all became Gravediggers.
