Bio:
The following information was gleaned from It Makes You Want To Spit!:
L-OX were John Gray's band in so far as he was the surviving member through many
lineup changes. The band appeared to be a breeding ground for several other bands from
the Glengormley area.
Mark Wilson was replaced by Maurice McKeown; Alan Davidson was replaced by Ken Hosick.
Colin Woods, Peter Todd and Ken Hosick then left to form Traitor who would later
became The Allotropes. Maurice McKeown left for
Belfast band Control Zone.
The second line above (Lineup #2) was reputedly a great live band, with John Gray
emerging as a strong songwriter. Peter Stevenson was replaced by Steve Mitchell. They
changed their name to The Aerosols
and later Final Strike before disbanding. John Gray later fronted Burning Kisses.
