Aftermath were a power-pop/mod band from Belfast who self-released a single in 1980. Kev McAleenan later went to art college and worked in the advertising industry. Joe Nugent's brother was in the Parasites (featured in Shell Shock Rock).

The single was described on ebay as "fantastic punky/mod-ish powerpop w/great B-side."

There was another band named Aftermath active in 1981 who were from Derby.
